Next Steps for Growing in Your Faith

This page outlines the ways that FWC can support you as you grow in your relationship with the Lord. It’s like most other things in life — you get out of it what you put in. You can’t do anything to earn favor with God. But we believe taking practical steps to get to know Him and connect with what He is doing will provide immeasurable benefits as you walk with Jesus. Read on for some next steps you can take to grow in your faith.

  • Join us for worship.

Corporate worship is a vital part of spiritual growth in the life of a believer. We meet every Sunday for our worship service beginning at 10:30am. Families are welcome to include their children in the service. We also have a robust kids’ ministry and a nursery for kids from 6 months to 5th grade.

  • Connect with God through personal Bible reading.

Reading the Bible regularly provides your soul with nourishment, similar to how eating food helps strengthen and fuel your body. We need the Word! If you don’t have a physical copy of the Bible, contact us — we’ll get you one. You can also read the Bible online at Bible.com or in the YouVersion mobile app.

  • Join a small group.

Corporate worship is vital! But it’s only a part of what we experience together as we walk with Jesus. Deep relationships and fellowship happen on a smaller scale. We have a variety of small groups throughout the church from our high school and college groups through adults, and the meetup schedules vary. Ask any staff member or greeter at a church service or message us through our Facebook page to get connected to your small group.

  • Consider serving.

We’re all saved to serve! The Lord places gifts and desires in our hearts when we give our lives to Him. A part of his plan for your life includes serving others. In addition to how you conduct your personal life, the Lord might be calling you to serve Him through the various ministries in our church. There are lots of opportunities, and it may take some time to find where you fit. Ask any staff member or greeter at a church service or message us through our Facebook page to learn where you can plug in and get started.
